Had a small hiccup a few months back. My computer crashed and I lost nearly every design and any progress I made on the L-70 Carolina. Since then I’ve been able to recover a few of my designs from back at the landing school as well as recreating the Carolina. Truly a blessing being able to remake it, I have changed several details and key features of the variation I have uploaded pictures of. This is the L-75 Carolina LX, as the name states I have bumped the LOA to 75′ and a BOA of 20′. This variation is an open transom with a rear platform, with plans on a rotating lounge/fishing platform, focusing more on luxury rather than fishing. With Hydrostatic calcs and estimates completed, the WOT is sitting at 60kts, not as intense as its precursor but still more than enough speed to put you back in one of the 7 Release Marine helm chairs in the cockpit. If anyone is leaning more on the fishing standpoint, there will also be the L-75 Carolina OFX. This variation will be closed transom with the engines mounted straight to the transom, since there will be no rotating lounge this frees up a lot more aft space for fishing as well as storage. The OFX will also feature a tower to help with easily backing down and maintaining your position. Sorry for the radio silence in case there was anyone looking at this but I will make sure to keep this up to date in case anyone actually is.
